The greatest thing about traveling is that it gives us a chance to get away from our familiar surroundings and see the way others think and live. It is a constant reminder to me that many of the assumptions we live our daily lives upon are fragile constructs.
It also is a reminder that although destitute poverty can cause misery, money does not necessarily bring happiness. |
