The Republic of Belau

Perhaps the greatest SCUBA diving in the world.  Certainly in the top seven.  Palau is an underwater paradise.

My favorite trips include:

        Blue Corner - Hook in with a grappling hook on a 5 meter cord and suspend in the current while stunning amounts of life blow by you.  Really cool.        German Channel - lots of coral and fan growth with lots of large fish.  Afterwards, Ulong beach       (where westerners first met the Palauns) is only a short ride away.       Planet Blue Kayaking Tours - The best way to see the Rock Islands (below).  Check out jellyfish lake (below) and the "pipe-vine".   Guide "Ethan" is a marine biologist with encyclopedic knowledge of anything you may want to know about the islands.
